Sakshi Jha's Bold Claims on Stage

Sakshi Jha, an educator and content creator hailing from Bihar, made waves in the latest episode of India's Got Talent 2 by labeling herself a "man-hater" during her audition. She provocatively stated her desire to physically confront her husband after consuming alcohol.

During her performance, Sakshi boldly declared, "I am a man-hater... I find joy in diminishing men's egos." She went on to express her grievances against the men in her life, including her father, brother, and grandfather, noting that her grandfather reciprocated her feelings due to her strained relationship with her brother. She described the experience of being a woman in today's world as "pure trauma" and questioned the pride men take in their gender, reminding them that they too are born of women.

Unfavorable Reception from Judges and Audience

Despite her bold statements, Sakshi's performance failed to impress the judging panel. Comedian Samay Raina, along with judges Tanmay Bhat, Vishal Dadlani, Raghu Ram, and Yashraj Mehra, unanimously awarded her a score of zero, marking the first such instance this season. The audience echoed this sentiment, giving her the same score when prompted by Samay. Interestingly, Sakshi rated her own performance an eight out of ten.

Following the airing of the episode, clips of her audition quickly went viral. Many viewers criticized her performance as embarrassing, accusing her of misandry rather than delivering comedy. Additionally, some took issue with the feminist label she used, arguing that harboring hatred towards an entire gender contradicts the principles of feminism. Her remarks about people from Bihar further fueled the online reactions.
