On Monday night, Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and producer Aamir Khan made a special appearance on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 to promote their upcoming film, Batwara 1947. However, they were caught off guard by the host's unexpected remarks.

Amitabh Bachchan had a light-hearted complaint for Preity, stating, “We have a complaint against you. We wish you on your birthday on January 31, but you never respond.”

Preity, known for her playful demeanor, replied, “No, Amitji, that’s not true. I will respond, but just a week later,” implying that a week's delay was quite acceptable.

Bachchan was quick to counter her, displaying an old post from X on the big screen where he had previously called her out for the same issue, showcasing that her silence was a well-known pattern. The audience found it amusing, leaving Preity without a retort.

Later, she shared that in her home, Bachchan is recognized not for his films but as 'KBC uncle' by her children. Bachchan acknowledged that this is a common scenario, as many parents inform him that their kids only know him from the show.

Batwara 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, is set to hit theaters on August 14.
