Understanding Rama Ekadashi

In Hindu tradition, each *tithi* (lunar day) and *vaar* (day of the week) carries profound meaning. Every month features two *Ekadashi* days—one during the *Shukla Paksha* (waxing moon) and another during the *Krishna Paksha* (waning moon). Among the 24 *Ekadashis* observed annually, *Rama Ekadashi* is particularly significant.

Significance of Rama Ekadashi: Observances and Zodiac Remedies

This special day occurs during the *Krishna Paksha* of the month of *Kartik*. Observing a fast on this day is believed to grant devotees' wishes through the grace of Lord Vishnu. Ujjain-based astrologer Anand Bhardwaj shares insights on when this *Ekadashi* will be celebrated this year and what donations are recommended based on zodiac signs for favorable outcomes.

According to the Vedic *Panchang* (almanac), the *Ekadashi tithi* for *Kartik Krishna Paksha* begins at 11:03 AM on Wednesday, November 4th, and ends at 10:35 AM on Thursday, November 5th. Following the *Udaya Tithi* (the *tithi* at sunrise), *Rama Ekadashi* will be observed on Thursday, November 5th, with the *paran* (breaking of the fast) occurring on November 6th during the *Dwadashi tithi*.
