Puja Rituals Before Immersion

**Rituals to Follow**
On Anant Chaturdashi, dress in clean attire before beginning the immersion process. Purify your worship area by sprinkling *Gangajal* (holy Ganges water).
Light a lamp made of *ghee* (clarified butter) before offering your prayers to Lord Ganesha.
Apply a *tilak* made from *kumkum* (vermilion), *akshat* (unbroken rice), turmeric, and sandalwood paste on the idol of Bappa.
Present 21 bundles of *Durva* grass as an offering.

For the immersion, wrap a coconut, jaggery, rice, *modaks*, and some coins in a red or yellow cloth and place it beside the idol.
