Shah Rukh Khan Completes Purchase of His Childhood Home in Delhi
Shah Rukh Khan's Full Ownership of His Delhi Residence
Shah Rukh Khan has successfully acquired complete ownership of his childhood home in Delhi by purchasing the two upper floors he previously did not own. As reported by a financial news outlet, the actor, who already possessed the basement and ground floor of the Panchsheel Park residence in South Delhi, has now secured the second and third floors for approximately Rs 37 crore.
The property is situated on a substantial 1,200-square-yard plot, which translates to around 10,800 square feet, with the land value in the vicinity estimated at about Rs 34,260 per square foot.
This house holds deep sentimental value for both Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. After their marriage in 1991, which included a civil registration, a Hindu ceremony, and a Nikah, the couple began their journey together in this home before Shah Rukh relocated to Mumbai to chase his acting dreams. Currently, the family resides in Mannat, their renowned bungalow located in Bandra, Mumbai.
Gauri, who spent her formative years in Delhi, has expressed her wish to maintain the house as a treasure trove of family memories. She has mentioned a special 'nostalgia wall' that showcases mementos from each family member, including Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, along with various artworks and antiques that the couple has gathered over the years.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action thriller, 'King', which is scheduled for release on December 24. The film features a star-studded cast, including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
