Start your day by taking a large bowl—big enough to fully immerse your face—and fill it with plain water. Place this bowl in the freezer until the water is thoroughly chilled, ensuring it's cold enough to numb your fingers upon contact.
If you're pressed for time in the morning, there's a quick alternative: grab some ice cubes from the freezer, place them in a large bowl, and add a bit of plain water. In just a minute, you'll have your ice-cold water ready.
Once your water is prepared, dip your face into it for a few seconds, then lift it out. Repeat this process 15 to 20 times each morning. The sudden cold exposure causes your facial pores to contract and tighten, which firms the skin, reduces puffiness, and gradually lessens the appearance of fine lines.
Kavita emphasizes that this treatment is especially advantageous for women over 25, as this is when fine lines and early signs of aging typically emerge. It is not recommended for young children.
