Akshay Kumar shared a touching tribute on X, stating that Dharmendra's spirit will endure through his films. He reminisced, saying, “Growing up, Dharmendra ji was the hero every boy aspired to be… our industry’s original He-Man. Thank you for inspiring countless generations. Your movies and the love you shared will keep you alive. Om shanti.”

Ajay Devgn reflected on Dharmendra's warmth and generosity, noting, “The industry has lost a true legend… someone who has profoundly influenced the essence of our cinema. Rest in peace, Dharam ji. Om Shanti.”
