Comedian Pranit More took to the stage for his first live performance following the Rs 370 biryani incident at an event in Georgia on June 14. A video from that night has since gained significant attention for unexpected reasons.

Feeling emotional during his set, More expressed his initial doubts about the audience's reception. "As I stepped onto the stage, I questioned whether the crowd would welcome me. It was heartwarming to see your support, especially after everything that transpired," he shared.

He reflected on the impact of the backlash, stating, "My journey into stand-up was never about chasing money or fame. I pursued it for the joy it brings me, and my goal has always been to spread happiness. So, when that joy is absent, it stings a little," he explained.

More also recalled comforting words from his mother that motivated him. "She reminded me that everyone makes mistakes and that my actions would reflect my apology," he said, visibly emotional.

He concluded his performance by expressing gratitude to the audience for their understanding. "I've performed many shows, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart," he remarked.

The controversy originated from a clip where an audience member, Himanshu Jangra, suggested that spending Rs 370 on biryani gave him the right to physical intimacy. More's laughter in response sparked widespread outrage, leading to an NCW summons, a police report, and Jangra's job loss.
