Oscar Nomination for The Voice of Hind Rajab

Kaouther Ben Hania's docudrama, The Voice of Hind Rajab, has received a nomination for Best International Feature at the Oscars. Unfortunately, Motaz Malhees, who plays a significant role in the film, will not be able to attend the ceremony. He expressed his disappointment, stating, "Our film is nominated for an Academy Award. I had the privilege of portraying one of the lead characters in a narrative that the world needed to hear. However, I will not be present due to restrictions on my entry into the United States because of my Palestinian citizenship."
