Noor Mahal Joins Autograph Collection Hotels

Noor Mahal, located in Karnal, Delhi NCR, has made history by becoming the inaugural hotel in India to be included in the Autograph Collection Hotels by Marriott International. This announcement marks the introduction of the Autograph Collection in India, making it the 19th brand under Marriott's umbrella in the country.

The Autograph Collection is a premium brand within Marriott International, known for its high-end, curated hotels. Unlike typical partnerships where hotel promoters seek affiliation, Marriott's team selects properties based on their distinctiveness, heritage, and design, ensuring they are “Exactly Like Nothing Else” globally. Currently, the collection boasts over 300 unique hotels worldwide, each chosen for its individuality and local charm, and they are part of the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program,” stated Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President of South Asia for Marriott International.

“Effective immediately, Noor Mahal has officially become a member of Marriott International's family, recognized for its unique architecture that harmoniously blends Mughal, Rajputana, and British influences with contemporary amenities,” Andicot added.

Col Manbeer Chaudhary (Retd), the owner of Noor Mahal and former President of the All India Hotel and Restaurants’ Federation, expressed his excitement about this partnership. After serving in the Indian Army for 25 years, Col Chaudhary transitioned into hospitality, founding Jewel’s Hotel in Karnal in 1994, followed by Noor Mahal in 2012, and Colonel Saab in London in 2021. His vision and hard work have established a significant landmark in the region's hospitality sector.

Reflecting on the collaboration with Marriott International, Col Chaudhary shared, “I am elated today as my lifelong aspiration has been realized by partnering with the world's leading brand.” He emphasized that the Autograph Collection symbolizes progress, innovation, and excellence, representing both his personal dedication and his family's proud legacy, now elevated to new heights.

Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand participated in the key handover ceremony from Chaudhary to Marriott International. Chaudhary noted that this partnership heralds a new era for Indian heritage, showcasing international standards through Marriott. Addressing questions about ownership, he clarified, “We will retain full ownership of the hotel, while Marriott will manage and operate it.”

Binny Chaudhary, Managing Director of Noor Mahal Group of Hotels and the chief interior designer of the palace hotel, expressed her joy over the collaboration, calling it a dream come true. “This is a proud moment for the people of Karnal, Haryana, and India, as our hotel becomes the first in the country to join the Autograph Collection, a true gem of Marriott International. This achievement will further elevate Karnal on the global tourism stage,” she concluded.
