Neha Dhupia is set to unveil two significant projects almost at the same time. Her international film debut, titled 52 Blue, is scheduled to have its European premiere at the 17th London Indian Film Festival on July 9. This follows its earlier screening in North America at the Washington, DC International Film Festival in April.

Directed by Egyptian filmmaker Ali El Arabi, 52 Blue is a coming-of-age narrative centered around Ashish, a 23-year-old who has spent most of his life under his father's strict supervision. With his mother's encouragement, he embarks on a journey from India to Qatar to witness the 2022 FIFA World Cup and meet his idol, Lionel Messi. Although the film features football, its core theme revolves around Ashish's quest for self-discovery. Dhupia portrays the role of the mother, serving as an emotional anchor in the film, alongside co-stars Adil Hussain and Yadav Shashidhar.

In contrast, the newly released web series, Perfect Family, explores a different theme. It revolves around the Karkaria family, whose seemingly perfect facade begins to crumble when they face a crisis that leads them to therapy. Each therapy session reveals confrontations, humor, and uncomfortable truths. Dhupia plays a pivotal role within this ensemble cast.

Both of these projects resonate with Dhupia's expertise in portraying characters who are the backbone of their families while managing the burdens of others.
