Renowned for her diverse acting skills, Neha ventures into uncharted territory with this film, showcasing a raw and unglamorous persona for the first time on screen.

Directed by the esteemed Egyptian filmmaker Ali El Arabi, '52 Blue' tells a heartfelt coming-of-age tale centered on a young Indian football fan's journey as a migrant worker to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The narrative delves into themes of identity, ambition, and resilience, all set against a poignant family backdrop.

Adil Hussain co-stars as Neha's husband, marking their inaugural collaboration on screen. In a notable shift from her past roles, Neha portrays the mother of a young man, adding depth and emotional weight to a character that serves as the story's anchor.

Filmed extensively in Kochi, '52 Blue' follows Ashish (Yadav Shashidhar), a young boy raised under the oppressive control of his father on a secluded island. With the quiet support of his mother and inspired by the memory of his deceased brother, Ashish eventually gathers the courage to break free. His journey leads him across borders to meet his idol, Lionel Messi, at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022, marking his first encounter with the broader world beyond his isolated upbringing.
