Mumbai's Star-Studded Album Launch for 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups'

A Night of Music and Glamour in Mumbai

On Wednesday evening, Mumbai was alive with excitement as the cast of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups—including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth—came together for the launch of the film's album. This event felt more like a concert than a typical press gathering.

Vishal Mishra took to the stage to perform Waqt live for the first time, concluding his set with Tabaahi. He even stepped into the audience to interact with Yash and Kiara. Siddharth Basrur showcased Madhosh, while Jonita Gandhi treated attendees to an exclusive preview of Chingariyaan ahead of its official release.

The album features a diverse range of languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Tracks like Tabaahi and Madhosh are already gaining popularity. Waqt leans towards a heavier sound with EDM, dubstep, and psychedelic elements, while PeekaBoo and Chingariyaan bring a more playful vibe. In contrast, Father and Son and Blood on Blood explore deeper emotional themes.

Vishal Mishra expressed his gratitude for the creative freedom this project provided him, stating, "From the raw energy of Tabaahi to the deep, soulful emotion of Waqt, this album captures every spectrum of feeling."

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, who co-wrote the film with Yash, Toxic is set to be released globally on August 26.
