Exciting Reveal of The Thomas Crown Affair
The highly anticipated first look at Michael B. Jordan's upcoming film, The Thomas Crown Affair, has been revealed, showcasing a stylish take on the classic heist thriller.
The newly launched poster radiates intrigue, featuring Jordan in the role of a wealthy mastermind. He is seen wearing a sharp ivory tuxedo jacket complemented by a traditional black bow tie.
To maintain an air of mystery, Jordan's face is partially obscured, drawing attention to his expressions and the intricate details of the poster. Set against a simple background, the tagline boldly states, "Revenge is a work of art." Directed by Jordan, who also stars in the film, The Thomas Crown Affair is set to hit theaters on March 5. He shared on Instagram, "Revenge is a work of art. The Thomas Crown Affair. Only in theaters March 5."
Earlier this year, Jordan showcased the film's trailer during the Las Vegas CinemaCon 2026.
Reflecting on his passion for the project, Jordan mentioned, "I’ve been daydreaming about making this movie for years," recalling how he was inspired by the 1999 version he first watched at age 12.
This film is a remake of the original The Thomas Crown Affair, which starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, and was later reimagined in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo, as reported by a media outlet.
As both director and star, Jordan aims to blend "style, sophistication, and rebellion" while giving the character a more profound purpose. The narrative follows a billionaire art thief who pilfers priceless artworks, including a Van Gogh, while entangled with an investigator on his trail.
The cast also includes Ruth Negga, Aubrey Plaza, Danai Gurira, Kenneth Branagh, Pilou Asbaek, Paapa Essiedu, and Lily Gladstone, according to a media source.
