Understanding Goodness and Badness in Society

Every individual possesses both good and bad traits. However, some people tend to focus solely on the negative aspects of others. By spreading negativity about someone, they create division within the community. Instead, we should aim to highlight the positive qualities of individuals and foster connections among people. Those who seek to divide society are often disliked and left behind.

A Tailor's Son Learns a Valuable Lesson

Once upon a time, there was a renowned tailor in a bustling city, always surrounded by customers eager to get their clothes stitched. The tailor had a son who decided to visit his father's shop during a school holiday. While observing his father at work, the boy noticed something peculiar. He saw that after cutting fabric with scissors, his father would place them on the floor, but after sewing with a needle, he would put it in a cap.

Curious, the boy asked, "Dad, I've noticed that you place the scissors under your feet after cutting fabric, but you keep the needle in the cap after sewing. Why is that?" The father smiled and replied, "There’s a significant secret behind this. It could change your life. Would you like to hear it?" The boy eagerly responded, "Yes, please tell me!"

The father explained, "Son, scissors are only used for cutting, which is a negative action. In contrast, a needle serves to connect things, which is a positive action. Those who cut down others are always looked down upon, while those who unite people are held in high regard. That’s why I place the needle in the cap and the scissors on the floor." The boy learned an important life lesson from his father's words.

Moral of the Story

Individuals who work towards uniting society and its members are always respected and valued. They hold a higher position in the community. Conversely, those who seek to divide or harm others are often disrespected and regarded as inferior. Therefore, we should always strive to promote unity through our actions and behavior.
