Renowned social media sensation Tucker Budzyn, affectionately referred to as the 'Golden boy' by his fans, has sadly passed away at the age of eight due to complications related to cancer.
His owner, Courtney Budzyn, shared the heartbreaking news in a video posted on September 5, revealing that Tucker had died unexpectedly on September 2, just days after she disclosed his lymphoma diagnosis. This announcement left countless followers grieving the loss of a dog who had become a cherished figure across various social media platforms.
"I thought that was going to be my last sad video, but it’s not. Tucker is gone. I’m so sorry," she expressed. She continued, "Tucker passed away on Wednesday, unexpectedly. He was responding well to treatment, but we were unaware that he had lymphoma affecting his intestines." Courtney emphasized that Tucker was as much a part of his audience's lives as he was of hers, highlighting the deep connection he had established with millions of fans who enjoyed his videos and followed his journey online.
"He was a part of my soul. Losing him feels like losing a piece of myself. I’m so sorry, everyone. I know he meant a lot to you too, and I didn’t want to just post a photo without explaining what happened. I felt it was important to share this with you because he belonged to all of us. I couldn’t hold back any longer as I kept receiving messages asking, ‘Please, Tucker, get well soon.’ It’s been eating me alive. The last three weeks were filled with joy. We visited the park multiple times, and he marked every tree he could," she shared in her Instagram video.
Tucker's passing has left his vast online community in mourning, with fans taking to social media to express their affection for the Golden Retriever and extend their condolences to Courtney.
