Effective Homemade Oil Recipe for Pain Relief

A renowned Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Robin Sharma, has shared a simple recipe for creating an oil that alleviates joint pain, back pain, arthritis, knee pain, and cervical discomfort.

Dr. Sharma posted this remedy on his Instagram account, emphasizing that this oil can be easily prepared at home. He claims that the oil acts like a magnet, drawing out pain. According to the Ayurvedic expert, this homemade oil can be used for massage to relieve discomfort from back pain, arthritis, sciatica, or cervical issues.

How to Prepare Pain-Relieving Oil

To make this oil, start by heating 100 grams of mustard oil in a pan. Next, add 2 whole garlic cloves, 10 grams of carom seeds, and 5 grams of mace. Cook these ingredients on low heat until the oil turns dark. Once ready, strain the oil and store it in a bottle. This oil can be massaged onto the knees or back, providing relief wherever there is pain.

For massage, the oil can be warmed slightly. Avoid overheating it, as this can cause skin burns and blisters.

Maintain a Healthy Diet

  • Incorporate anti-inflammatory foods into your diet, as they help alleviate pain.

  • Leafy greens are rich in vitamins A, C, and K, which possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce pain.

  • Berries and cherries are packed with antioxidants, providing polyphenols that help decrease pain and inflammation.

  • Include nuts and seeds in your meals. Consuming walnuts, chia seeds, and flaxseeds provides omega-3 fatty acids beneficial for the body.

  • Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables to gain vitamin C and healthy enzymes, which also help reduce inflammation.
