While some individuals find relief quickly, others may struggle with this condition for an extended period, often seeking various treatments. A common belief is that dehydration exacerbates this problem.


Burning during urination is a prevalent issue, often linked to urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and dehydration. Here, we explore some home remedies to alleviate this discomfort.


This condition typically involves infrequent urination accompanied by a burning sensation. In Ayurveda, it is referred to as 'Mutrakrichra.' Both men and women can experience this issue, with approximately 80 out of 100 individuals facing it at some point in their lives.


Experiencing burning during urination is common for both genders, yet many feel embarrassed to discuss it. While some find quick relief, others may endure it for longer periods.


During the summer months, increased consumption of hot foods can trigger this issue. However, if the problem persists, it may indicate a more serious condition, necessitating medical advice. Today, we will share some effective home remedies through All Ayurvedic.


Ayurvedic Remedies for Burning Sensation in Urine

Mix one teaspoon of coriander powder in a glass of water and let it sit overnight. Strain it in the morning and add sugar or jaggery before consuming.


Cucumbers are rich in water content and help maintain digestive health. They also contain alkaline properties that support proper urinary function.


Dehydration can lead to this issue, causing urine to appear yellow. Therefore, it is essential to drink plenty of water and consider coconut water, which helps alleviate dehydration and burning sensations.


Grind five almonds and six to seven cardamom pods with sugar and mix them in a glass of water for relief.


Coconut water is beneficial for hydration and can also be mixed with jaggery and coriander powder for added benefits.


Consuming a mixture of 300 grams of milk and 300 grams of water with sugar on an empty stomach for seven days can provide significant relief. Soaking fennel and sugar in water overnight, then mixing it with raw milk in the morning, can also help treat burning and urinary infections within a few days.


Soaking a handful of wheat in water overnight, grinding it in the morning, and straining it with sugar can relieve burning sensations when consumed for a week.


Drinking warm water can ease pain during urination. Mixing a little water with raw milk or adding alum to water and consuming it two to three times a day can also provide relief.


Fruits rich in Vitamin C, such as citrus fruits, can kill bacteria that cause urinary infections, preventing burning sensations. Including amla in your diet can also help. Mixing equal parts of cardamom and amla powder with water can alleviate burning.


Chop five grams of onion finely and boil it in half a liter of water. Once reduced to half, strain and cool it before drinking. This remedy is effective for preventing burning during urination.


A mixture of kalmi shora, cardamom seeds, cream-free cold milk, and water can help alleviate burning sensations. Grind kalmi shora and cardamom seeds into a fine powder, mix one tablespoon with equal parts of milk and cold water, and consume three times a day for two days to see results.


Boil fresh coriander in water, cool it, and strain. Drinking this water two to three times a day can help. Eating an apple daily can reduce frequent urination at night.


Consuming about 50 grams of roasted chickpeas followed by a little jaggery can help reduce excessive urination, especially for the elderly who may need to follow this remedy for a longer duration.
