On Saturday, T Harish Rao, a former minister and BRS MLA, alongside Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda, participated in a significant 'Gift of Life' event.

This ceremony marked the remarkable achievement of 500 successful surgeries at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital located in Kondapak, Siddipet district, Telangana.

The Sathya Sai Trust has been dedicated to offering free pediatric heart surgeries to underprivileged children, and reaching this milestone of 500 surgeries is a testament to their commitment.

During his speech, Rao expressed deep appreciation for the doctors who have given these children a second chance at life, as well as the medical staff who provide exceptional care to both the children and their families.

“Delivering free heart surgeries and medical assistance to around six thousand children each year—thereby granting them a new lease on life—is truly remarkable. Today, we listened to stories from families, including one from Chhattisgarh and another from Odisha. The joy, gratitude, and trust reflected in their eyes are powerful indicators of the invaluable service this hospital offers,” he remarked.
