On Thursday, they returned to Mumbai to showcase their latest capsule collection, Noir Botanica, during an exclusive event at Galeries Lafayette Mumbai that seamlessly merged elements of runway, theater, and a late-night salon ambiance.

They expressed, “Our aim was to create from the heart. We wanted to design clothes that resonate with people, featuring strong silhouettes and beautiful textures, while remaining relevant to daily life. Essentially, it’s about crafting real clothing for real individuals.”

This philosophy is evident in both menswear and womenswear. Evening attire is reimagined with sharper tailoring, unexpected proportions, fluid designs, sheer elements, corsetry, and sculptural details, giving traditional RGRK styles a contemporary twist.

Noir Botanica draws its inspiration from architectural details, botanical shapes, and the human form, creating a wardrobe that harmonizes contrasting elements—softness with structure, transparency with density, and fluidity with precision.
The designers' signature molten textures are paired with sheer fabrics, while traditional techniques like zardozi and hand-thread embroidery coexist with modern methods such as laser cutting and metallic accents. For this presentation, Galeries Lafayette Mumbai was transformed into an intimate and slightly enigmatic space, inspired by the nostalgia of jazz and the glamour of 1930s evening culture—not as a direct replica, but as a tribute to the warmth, intimacy, and decadence of a memorable night.
The designers stated, “We aimed to create an atmosphere where Galeries Lafayette felt like a mysterious Parisian room; with jazz playing, guests dressed for the evening, and the clothing becoming part of that enchanting environment.”

The evening concluded with actor Vijay Varma making a striking appearance in a standout Noir Botanica outfit. He graced the runway in a deep mossy olive ensemble featuring a lustrous satin shirt, relaxed tailored trousers, and an eye-catching embellished velvet jacket.
The event attracted a distinguished crowd from various sectors, including fashion, film, and music, with notable attendees such as Kajol, Babil Khan, Mahima Makwana, and many others.
