Excitement Builds for Mirzapur: The Movie

The much-anticipated trailer for Mirzapur: The Movie was unveiled on Monday, and fans on X quickly shared their thoughts. The response was immediate and enthusiastic.

Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu Sharma reprise their roles as Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, and Munna Bhaiya, respectively, as they take their fierce rivalry to the big screen for the first time. The film's production quality is noticeably elevated compared to the series, sparking considerable buzz among viewers. One user on X remarked, “The scale, action, and bhaukaal are on another level,” reflecting the overall sentiment.

Munna Bhaiya's return generated the most excitement, with one fan commenting, “Character so GOATED ki uske comeback ke liye poori film banani pad gayi.” Another described the trailer as an “absolute beast” featuring “dialogue that is pure dynamite.” Ravi Kishan also caught the attention of many, with several fans highlighting his performance as a standout.

However, not all feedback was positive. Some viewers expressed concerns regarding potential censorship, noting that even with an A rating, the film might undergo cuts in India that could compromise the raw essence that made Mirzapur popular.

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and penned by Puneet Krishna, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. It is set to hit theaters on September 4 in both Hindi and Telugu.
