Sunburn Festival Returns to Mumbai

Great news for electronic dance music enthusiasts! The 19th edition of the Sunburn Festival has been officially confirmed for December 18 and 19, taking place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, a renowned venue in Mumbai known for hosting major live events.

The festivities will conclude with a grand closing party at the NSCI Dome on December 20.

Karan Singh, the CEO of Sunburn, shared insights about the festival's evolution, stating, “Sunburn Festival has always prioritized its audience, transforming each year into a significant cultural event for India's music scene. This year's move to Mumbai is pivotal, enabling us to connect with new fans while reinforcing our existing community. It symbolizes the culmination of our journey, where the festival's essence, vibrancy, and vision align with some of the world's most celebrated music festivals.” He further emphasized, “As we approach our 19th edition, every choice—from relocating to Mahalaxmi Racecourse to rethinking the festival's structure—aims to enhance the fan experience. Our goal is to set new standards for live entertainment in India, merging scale, storytelling, and community in an unprecedented manner.” Looking ahead to 2026, the festival will introduce its theme, 'Awaken the Core', with headliners to be revealed shortly.
