For children suffering from nasal congestion or colds, the doctor suggests the following method:
Start by turning on the hot water shower in the bathroom.
Close the bathroom door to trap the steam inside.
Once the room is steamy, turn off the shower.
Hold your child in your arms and stay in the bathroom for about 5 to 7 minutes.
This method allows the child to benefit from the steam without direct exposure to the hot vapor, gradually easing their nasal and respiratory discomfort.
