Quick and Nutritious Breakfast Idea

In the busy mornings, we all crave a meal that is not only quick to prepare but also tasty and nutritious. If you're tired of the usual poha, upma, and parathas, we have an exciting new recipe for you today.

Introducing Apple Yogurt Pancakes! These delightful pancakes are sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike. The subtle sweetness of apples combined with the creamy yogurt creates a delicious treat that will have everyone coming back for more.

The best part? You won't need to spend hours in the kitchen. These pancakes are healthy too, as we will be using whole wheat flour instead of refined flour.

Ingredients for Apple Yogurt Pancakes
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 grated apple (peeled)
1/2 cup fresh yogurt
2 teaspoons honey or jaggery powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
A little butter or ghee (for cooking)
Milk as needed (to adjust the batter consistency)

Instructions for Preparing Apple Yogurt Pancakes
Begin by mixing the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and cinnamon powder in a large bowl. The aroma of cinnamon will give your pancakes a delightful bakery-like scent.
Next, add the fresh yogurt, grated apple, and honey to the bowl. Stir everything together until well combined.

Ensure the pancake batter is of a smooth consistency—not too thick or too runny. If it appears too thick, gradually add milk until you achieve the desired texture.

Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat. Lightly grease it with butter or ghee. Pour a tablespoon of batter onto the pan and gently spread it into a round shape (it should not be too thin).
Cook until small bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to set, then carefully flip the pancake. Cook the other side until it turns golden and crispy.

Your delicious and healthy apple yogurt pancakes are now ready! Serve them on a plate, and if desired, drizzle a bit more honey on top or garnish with chopped almonds, walnuts, and fresh fruits.
