- Start by honoring Lord Ganesha, who is traditionally worshipped first (*Pratham Pujya*).
- Present *Durva* grass, fruits, and flowers to Lord Ganesha, along with *Laddus* as *Bhog* (sacred offering) and light incense and a lamp.
- After Ganesha's worship, perform *Abhishek* (ritual bathing) of the *Shivling* and Goddess Parvati using pure water mixed with a few drops of *Gangajal* (holy Ganges water).
- Subsequently, conduct *Abhishek* of the *Shivling* with milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugarcane juice.
