Observing Bada Mangal

Shri Balaji Darshan: Today is recognized as 'Bada Mangal' or 'Budhwa Mangal', a significant day dedicated to fasting and honoring Lord Hanuman, also known as Pavanputra. Start your day with a cleansing bath and pay homage to the mighty Bajrangbali. This morning, visit Shri Bageshwar Dham to seek Shri Balaji's blessings, which can help alleviate your troubles and ensure the success of your endeavors.

On this blessed Tuesday, make it a point to have an early morning darshan of Shri Balaji. After your bath, engage in worship with sincere devotion. Present offerings such as red sandalwood paste, vermilion (sindoor), red flowers, incense, lamps, fruits, and *naivedya* (sacred food). Prepare a *bhog* (ritual food) that includes jaggery, roasted chickpeas (*chana*), *laddu*, and *rot* (flatbread). If you have a particular wish, consider offering a red *langot* (loincloth) and a flag (*pataka*) to help manifest it.

Lord Hanuman is particularly pleased with offerings of a *chola* (ceremonial covering) made from vermilion and jasmine oil. This day holds special significance, and these offerings can greatly enhance the success of your pursuits. To honor Lord Hanuman on this Tuesday, offering jaggery and roasted chickpeas is recommended.

If time is limited, reciting the Hanuman Chalisa can still yield positive results. This devotional hymn celebrates the virtues, bravery, and devotion of Bajrangbali.

Another simple yet effective way to please Lord Hanuman today is to remember the name of Lord Shri Ram, who is dear to Hanuman. Chanting the name of Ram brings immense joy to Lord Hanuman. By repeating 'Ram', you not only receive the blessings of Lord Ram but also the protection of Bajrangbali.
