Best way to apply lip liner:

One step:

Before starting to smear the lip liner, you should always give your lip liner pencil a quick sharpen. This not only guarantees clean lines, but will remove existing bacteria from previous uses in the lip liner.

Step Two:

In support of plumper lips, this lip liner will be useful for the outer edge of your normal lip line. Do the opposite (ie, draw a little inside your lip line) for a contrasting effect.

Step Three:

Start with a V-shape in the center of your upper upper lip. Intended for a softer look, you can make the V more curved. You will soon find the shape that you find most pleasing. A number of women prefer to accentuate the V shape, while others prefer to round it out.

Step Four:

Start at the top of each V; Draw the pencil crosswise along your lip line to the curve of your mouth. Try to connect from the corner of your mouth earlier than the front of your lip column.

Step Five:

Introduce the pencil at a low point on your base lip, now repeating this angled drawing process towards the curve of the mouth.

Step Six:

To give your lipstick a firm base, apply the color evenly across the entire shell of your lips….gently!

finished! you are ready Now you can smear your lipstick, even mark on the lip gloss with a tissue for a perfect finish.

Tips to remember:

  •    Do not line your lips too much.
  •    Use a pencil as a lip primer. Fill in the entire lips with liner (not just the edges) before applying lipstick for a longer-lasting look. Liner sticks to a clean surface, so be careful you're not trying on lip balm  before applying.
  •    Go with your lip color, otherwise go lighter. Make sure your liner is a shade lighter than your lipstick. Just like foundation, lip liner is a hidden step. No one should know you are wearing it.
  •    Give the illusion of a thicker top lip by coating the base lip along its outermost edges plus the front liner.
  •    You should always wear lip liner in natural, red and pink tones.
  •    Reuse last season's lipstick. Line your lips with a red pencil and then coat your choice of summery pink lipstick over it to subtly change the shade.
  •    Remove the boundaries with a Q-tip. To remove harsh lines around the lips, sweep the Q-tip around the edges to minimize the appearance. Remember, delicacy is the key.
