Actor Ayushmann Khurrana Addresses Infidelity Concerns

During the trailer launch for 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do' on Saturday, actor Ayushmann Khurrana responded to inquiries regarding themes of infidelity in the film. He emphasized that the comedy is crafted as a wholesome family experience and does not promote such issues.

In addressing the film's plot, Khurrana explained that while it explores intricate relationships among characters, it steers clear of endorsing extra-marital affairs.

He stated, “This film focuses on the dynamics between these four characters. My character, Prajapati Pandey, is a positive figure. He embodies a strong moral compass. We are not advocating infidelity because this is a family film. It’s a comedy of errors, and there’s no implication of Prajapati having an affair.”

When discussing the balance between sensitive topics and family-friendly narratives, Khurrana highlighted the weight of his responsibilities as an actor and a father.

“It’s a significant responsibility. As a family man, I want to create films that my children can enjoy. I even brought my kids to see the edit, and they loved it. Their enjoyment sets a standard for me. If they like it, it’s a wholesome family film. 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do' is designed for everyone to enjoy; it promises to be a fun comedy,” he remarked.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film features Khurrana alongside Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh in leading roles.

Additionally, the cast includes Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ayesha Raza, and Durgesh Kumar in significant roles.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra, and Krishan Kumar, the film is a collaboration between T-Series Films and B R Studios.

This project continues the legacy of 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', which starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday, and was a modern adaptation of the classic 1978 film of the same name.
