A Quiet Life in London

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently enjoying a peaceful existence away from the public eye. Following the arrival of their second child, the couple has chosen to relocate to London in 2024, aiming for a more ordinary lifestyle, distanced from the glitz of fame.

Caught on Camera

Recently, a video featuring the couple gained traction online, showing them outside a bakery. In another clip that emerged, they were seen strolling through the streets of London when an individual began filming them from behind. Although the person kept a respectful distance, Virat noticed the camera and appeared displeased. He turned around, giving a stern look that clearly indicated his desire for them to stop recording.

Insights from Dr. Shriram Nene

Dr. Shriram Nene, who is married to Madhuri Dixit, previously shared in a podcast that Anushka expressed the challenges of relishing success in India due to relentless public scrutiny.

Dr. Nene recounted, “I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were contemplating a move to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). We empathize with their situation, as anything they do garners attention, leading to a sense of isolation.”

Their Journey Together

Anushka and Virat first crossed paths in 2013 during an advertisement shoot. For several years, they kept their relationship under wraps and eventually tied the knot in 2017 in a private ceremony in Italy. Their daughter, Vamika, was born in 2021, and they welcomed their son, Akay, in February 2024.

Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Anushka has been absent from the big screen since her film 'Zero' in 2018. She is set to make her comeback in the biopic 'Chakda Express', which focuses on cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli's team, RCB, celebrated its first IPL title victory in June.
