Amitabh Bachchan's Remarkable Comeback After Surgery
Amitabh Bachchan's Unwavering Dedication
Amitabh Bachchan has once again demonstrated his unparalleled commitment to his craft. Just days after undergoing surgery and spending time in the ICU, the 83-year-old actor completed an impressive 24-hour work shift for Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, starting at 7 AM and wrapping up the next morning at 7 AM.
He shared this experience on his personal blog, expressing it in his signature style. "I wrapped up work at 7 AM today after starting at 7 AM yesterday. The significance of this presentation and its timely execution was crucial, so I DID IT," he noted, before heading off for a meal and some much-needed rest ahead of another early morning.
Missing his schedule was simply not an option for him. With the premiere date for KBC 18 confirmed, Bachchan made it clear that he was prioritizing this commitment. "The first broadcast date for KBC has been set, and missing it would mean I’d need to be replaced," he humorously remarked, blending humor with a deeper philosophy.
This determination is particularly noteworthy given that just weeks ago, Bachchan discussed his surgery and ICU experience, calling it one of the toughest times in his life. He also addressed fan worries following a vague blog post about champions and loss, which many interpreted as a health update. He clarified that it was actually a reference to Messi and Argentina's FIFA World Cup defeat to Spain.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 is set to premiere on August 10 on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. At 83, Bachchan shows no signs of slowing down.
