In an exciting collaboration, Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista are teaming up for a new action-comedy titled The Wrecking Crew. Directed by Angel Manel Soto and penned by Jonathan Tropper, this film promises a thrilling ride.
The storyline revolves around two half-brothers, Jonny (played by Jason Momoa) and James (portrayed by Dave Bautista), who are compelled to come together following the enigmatic death of their father. As they delve into the mystery, long-buried secrets emerge, testing their loyalties and revealing a conspiracy that threatens to shatter their family bonds. United, they are prepared to demolish any obstacles in their path. The cast also includes Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, Miyavi, along with Stephen Root and Morena Baccarin.
Prime Video recently shared the first look at the film, stating, “Two brothers, Hawaii, and a whole lot of wrecking along the way. Here’s your first look at The Wrecking Crew, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. Coming January 28 to Prime Video.” Additionally, Bautista is set to join Jake Gyllenhaal in the sequel to Road House, directed by Ilya Naishuller, known for Heads of State.
The Wrecking Crew is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on January 28, 2026.
