Achieve a Radiant Glow at Home This Diwali with This Simple Facial
Diwali 2025: A Quick Home Facial
Diwali 2025: As the festive season approaches, many find themselves overwhelmed with house cleaning, shopping, and guest arrangements, leaving little time for self-care. If you relate to this, fear not! We have a quick and effective facial routine that you can easily perform at home in just 30 minutes. The best part? All the ingredients are likely already in your kitchen. Let’s explore this pre-Diwali facial that promises to give your skin a salon-like radiance.
Step 1: Cleansing
Start by cleansing your face. Combine a pinch of turmeric with a teaspoon of raw milk. Use a cotton ball to apply this mixture all over your face, gently massaging it in. After about 2 minutes, rinse your face with cold water. The raw milk helps eliminate impurities while turmeric's antibacterial properties help prevent breakouts.
Step 2: Scrubbing
Next, it’s time to exfoliate. Mix one teaspoon of rice flour with half a teaspoon of honey and a splash of rose water. Apply this mixture to your face and massage in circular motions for 3-4 minutes. The rice flour acts as a natural exfoliant, honey provides moisture, and rose water calms the skin. Rinse off with water.
Step 3: Face Pack
This step is crucial for the facial. In a bowl, combine two teaspoons of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, one teaspoon of yogurt, and a bit of rose water to create a smooth paste. Apply this mixture generously to your face and neck, allowing it to dry for 15-20 minutes. Once it starts to dry, gently massage it with wet hands before rinsing. Gram flour brightens the skin, yogurt softens it, and turmeric enhances the glow.
Post-Facial Care
After completing the facial, avoid using soap or face wash immediately. Instead, apply a light moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. It’s best to do this facial 2-3 days before Diwali to allow your skin to achieve its full glow.
