Bhambri Continues in Mixed Doubles

Despite the setback in men's doubles, Bhambri is still in the running for the mixed doubles title at the French Open 2026. He progressed past the first round alongside partner Alexandra Panova and is set to compete against the fourth-seeded duo of Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski in the next round.

N Sriram Balaji Moves Forward

In other matches, Indian player N Sriram Balaji, teaming up with Brazil's Marcelo Demoliner, triumphed over the German pair of Mark Wallner and Jakob Schnaitter with a score of 7-5, 6-2 in their second-round men's doubles match.

The Indo-Brazilian team achieved a vital break in the 11th game of the first set and maintained their serve to take the set. They dominated the second set, breaking their opponents twice in the first and seventh games, concluding the match in one hour and 27 minutes.

No Indian Players in Singles Draw

Unfortunately, there is no Indian representation in the singles main draw, as Karman Thandi was unable to advance past the qualifying rounds.
