India and UAE Unite Against Terrorism

Abu Dhabi: On Thursday, a delegation from India, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, engaged in discussions with UAE officials in Abu Dhabi, emphasizing India's firm position against terrorism.

During their visit, the Indian representatives met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE's Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, reinforcing the united front of New Delhi and Abu Dhabi in the battle against terrorism.

The talks focused on their mutual commitment to eradicate terrorism in all its forms.

Following the meeting, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar shared on social media, stating, "A nation united sends a strong message on combating terrorism."

The delegation also had discussions with Ali Alnuaimi, the Chairman of the Defence Affairs, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, along with other FNC members.

This meeting highlighted the shared determination of India and the UAE to maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and explored avenues for parliamentary collaboration between the two nations.

Part of India's extensive global outreach initiative known as Operation Sindoor, the delegation arrived in the UAE early Thursday. It comprises BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, Manan Kumar Mishra, BJD's Sasmit Patra, IUML MP E.T. Mohammed Basheer, BJP leader SS Ahluwalia, and former Ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

After their engagements in the UAE, the delegation plans to travel to Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone.

This extensive campaign aims to highlight Pakistan's involvement in promoting cross-border terrorism. Spearheaded by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), it represents a pioneering multi-party foreign engagement strategy designed to present a cohesive national stance against terrorism and diplomatically isolate Pakistan for its ongoing support of terror networks.

The initiative seeks to foster global consensus and diplomatically marginalize Pakistan, marking one of India's most comprehensive diplomatic efforts against terrorism and advocating for accountability regarding state-sponsored terror.
