On Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Countdown Run', an initiative organized by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. The event commenced from the gate of the CM Camp Office in Uttarakhand.
A Movement to Motivate the Youth
Dhami emphasized that the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Run' transcends being a mere event; it is a movement aimed at igniting energy, creating opportunities, and instilling confidence among the youth. He commended the young people of Uttarakhand for their commitment and patriotism, stating, "This run is not just an event but a campaign to awaken new energy, opportunity, and belief. Your presence here this early in the morning demonstrates the courage and dedication of Uttarakhand's youth towards our nation."
Challenge of Mental and Physical Endurance
Singh Dhami remarked that the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Run' tests not only physical endurance but also mental strength and determination. He praised the participants for their bravery and commitment to advancing Uttarakhand. He noted, "This run is not merely a test of your physical prowess; it serves to bolster your willpower, patience, and self-confidence. Running in the challenging terrain of the Niti Valley is not something everyone can achieve. It requires inner strength and the courage to face challenges head-on. I am proud to see you all here today—an inspiring group of young individuals eager to uplift this 'Devbhumi' in every aspect."
Participants Recognized as Brand Ambassadors
Dhami recognized the participants as ambassadors of Uttarakhand's bravery, tourism, and culture, congratulating them on their accomplishments. He stated, "In terms of courage, tourism, and culture, you are, in every sense, the brand ambassadors of this 'Devbhumi'. It is fitting to refer to each of you as a brand ambassador. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on this achievement."
