US B-2 Stealth Bomber Flies Over Miami F1 Amid Iran Strikes
B-2 Bomber's Miami Appearance
A recent flyover by a US B-2 stealth bomber during the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix has sparked significant interest, coinciding with reports of American military actions targeting Iran. Footage circulating on social media captured the bomber soaring above the race circuit just before the event commenced. These B-2 bombers have been instrumental in military operations aimed at underground sites associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to two US officials, the aircraft deployed 30,000-pound GBU-57 bombs, known as Massive Ordnance Penetrators, on a heavily fortified compound. One official confirmed that the site was obliterated, resulting in the deaths of several IRGC personnel. This type of bomb had previously been utilized against Iranian nuclear sites last year. The Pentagon has also verified the involvement of B-2 bombers in strikes targeting Iran’s underground ballistic missile systems, amid rising tensions in the region.

A US defense official informed a media outlet that the long-range bomber flew directly from the US to Iran, releasing multiple 2,000-pound bombs on missile launchers hidden in fortified underground sites. In a statement shared on social media, US Central Command declared: “Last night, US B-2 stealth bombers, armed with 2,000 lb. bombs, struck Iran’s hardened ballistic missile facilities. No nation should ever doubt America's resolve.” The B-2 Spirit is engineered to avoid radar detection and execute precise strikes against heavily fortified targets. It boasts a range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles without refueling, which can be extended through aerial refueling, enabling long-distance missions without landing.
Military flight activity analysts had previously noted movements indicative of B-2 deployments before officials confirmed the involvement of four aircraft. Similar bombers were deployed during the 2025 conflict between Israel and Iran. US President Donald Trump shared a video on social media showcasing one of the strikes, stating that Iranian military leaders had been “terminated” in what he referred to as a “massive strike in Tehran.”
