Top Teams Emerge from Round Five

The UP Prometheans and Rajasthan Regals have clinched the top two positions following the fifth round of the Professional Golf Tour of India's '72 The League', ensuring their participation in the Final set for March 6 at Qutab Golf Course in Delhi.


At the conclusion of round five, held at Classic Golf & Country Club in Nuh, Haryana, UP amassed 45 points, while Rajasthan followed closely with 43 points. Although Rajasthan was tied with Charminar Champions at 43 points, they advanced due to a superior previous victory margin. Consequently, Charminar Champions secured third place, with Nava Raipur (35 points), Mumbai Aces (27 points), and Kolkata Classics (21 points) finishing in fourth, fifth, and sixth positions, respectively.


Finals and Plate Championship Details

The UP Prometheans and Rajasthan Regals will compete in the Final on Friday, while the teams ranked third to sixth will vie for the Plate Championship on the same day at Qutab Golf Course.

In their recent matchup, UP triumphed over Rajasthan with a score of 10-4. UP secured victories in three out of five matches, while Rajasthan managed to win one, with the fifth match ending in a tie.
