Trump Threatens Military Action Over Iran Deal at G7 Summit
Trump's Stance on the Iran Agreement
During a meeting with Egypt's President at the G7 Summit, US President Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the current Iran deal, stating that the US might revert to military action if the agreement does not meet his expectations. He emphasized that the upcoming agreement, which aims to resolve the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and is scheduled for signing in Switzerland on June 19, is still subject to change.
Trump described the deal as a 'Memorandum of Understanding' and warned, 'If I don’t like it, we’ll go back to shooting at them, dropping bombs on their heads.' He further added, 'If they don’t behave, we’ll go right back to dropping bombs right smack in the middle of their head,' highlighting his firm stance on the issue during the discussions held in Evian, France.
