Trump's Condemnation of Israeli Actions

On Sunday, Donald Trump expressed his disapproval of Israel's recent airstrikes targeting Beirut, emphasizing that such actions were inappropriate, particularly at a time when negotiations with Iran were progressing. In a post on Truth Social, Trump remarked, "The attack on Beirut this morning was unnecessary, especially on a day when we are nearing a Peace Deal with Iran. While Israel has the right to protect itself from threats, the provocation it responded to was minimal and insignificant; no casualties were reported, and it should not hinder this crucial diplomatic effort."

He further stated, "We are on the verge of a Deal that could foster peace in the region, including Lebanon, and all parties should refrain from further hostilities. Israel should cease its attacks in Lebanon, and likewise, other groups, including Hezbollah, must not engage in aggression against Israel. This moment could mark the start of a lasting and harmonious peace — let’s not jeopardize it."
