Fatal Incident Involving Skydiving Plane
A devastating plane crash in Missouri has resulted in the deaths of twelve individuals, including eleven skydivers and the pilot. The aircraft took off from Butler Memorial Airport and went down shortly after departure around 11:30 AM local time, near Business 49 Highway, as reported by local officials.
According to a representative from Bates County Emergency Management, the private plane attempted to return to the airport for reasons that are still under investigation before it crashed near the highway. Emergency responders, along with investigators from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), were dispatched to the crash site.

Officials are currently investigating whether any skydivers managed to exit the aircraft prior to the crash.
