In a tragic incident, Nancy Grewal, a well-known social media influencer of Punjabi descent, was brutally murdered in LaSalle, Windsor. The attack occurred around 9:30 PM on Tuesday when assailants broke into her home and attacked her with knives. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Nancy succumbed to her injuries en route.


Following this shocking event, her mother, Tejinder Kaur, spoke to the media, making serious allegations regarding the circumstances surrounding her daughter's death. Nancy was known for her outspoken criticism of Khalistani extremists on her social media platforms.


Tejinder Kaur claimed that a relative of a known Khalistani figure, Jasveer Singh Rode, had a vendetta against her daughter and had pressured her for an apology. She directly accused local Khalistani groups in LaSalle/Windsor of orchestrating the murder.


Previously, Nancy had survived an assassination attempt, and her home had been set on fire, but she narrowly escaped. Just days before her death, a suspicious individual was seen lurking around her home, but fled upon being caught on CCTV.
