The Ministry of Emergency Management has sent a specialized team to Jinjiang City to oversee the rescue operations. Although the fire was extinguished by the afternoon, the hazardous conditions within the factory hindered firefighters from entering the premises.
Initial reports indicate that the fire originated on the ground floor, where highly flammable materials used in shoe production were stored. The rapid spread of the flames was attributed to the nature of these materials.
