Footage shared online captured the elephant parading through the convention hall adorned with a red, white, and blue feathered headpiece, while holding a sign that read "UNITY DRIVES VICTORY," the theme for this year's gathering. As Page walked past reporters, it unexpectedly urinated on the floor, prompting one handler to exclaim, "Oh, shoot." New York Times journalist Lauren McGaughy was among those present during the incident, which quickly became a hot topic among attendees and media covering the event.
