Taiwan's Appreciation for US Assistance

Taipei: Taiwan has expressed its gratitude for the ongoing support from the United States, especially following Xi's recent warning to Trump regarding possible "clashes and even conflicts" over the self-governing island that China claims as its territory.

Michelle Lee, a spokesperson for Taiwan's premier, stated, "The government positively regards all actions that enhance regional stability and help manage risks stemming from authoritarian expansion, and we will continue to collaborate with the United States across various dimensions of our relationship."

Lee emphasized that Taiwan maintains close communication with the US concerning national security and diplomatic matters.

"The US has consistently reaffirmed its strong and clear stance in support of Taiwan," she added.
