Suspect Linked to Synagogue Attack in West Bloomfield Township
Details of the Incident
Ayman Ghazaleh, a resident of Dearborn Heights, has been reportedly associated with a violent incident at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township that occurred early Thursday morning. As per Ryan Grim from Drop Site News, Ghazaleh is accused of crashing a vehicle packed with explosives into the synagogue and subsequently opened fire, resulting in injuries to a security guard present at the scene.
Grim, referencing a source familiar with the case, noted that Ghazaleh hails from Lebanon, where several of his relatives were recently killed in an Israeli airstrike. He mentioned that Ghazaleh had shared images on WhatsApp of family members, including young children, who lost their lives in a recent Israeli attack on Mashghara, Lebanon, just hours before the shooting.
Additionally, Bill Melugin from a news outlet reported that the vehicle involved in the crash was registered to a naturalized US citizen of Lebanese descent currently living in Dearborn. However, authorities have yet to officially confirm the identity of the suspect linked to the synagogue shooting.
