During their conversation, PM Modi inquired about Shukla's initial thoughts upon arriving in space. Shukla expressed that his first sight of Earth was awe-inspiring, noting that from space, the planet appears unified without visible borders. He remarked, "When we saw India for the first time, it looked grand and much larger than depicted on maps. From this perspective, it feels like there are no borders, and we are all part of one humanity, sharing this planet as our home."
