OnlyFans Founder Leonid Radvinsky Passes Away at 43 After Cancer Battle
Leonid Radvinsky's Legacy and Impact on OnlyFans
Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43 after a courageous fight against cancer, as confirmed by the company on Monday. The Ukrainian-American businessman took over Fenix International, the parent company of the UK-based platform, in 2018, and held the position of majority shareholder and director. Under his guidance, OnlyFans experienced significant growth while continuing its operations in the UK.
Radvinsky was recognized for receiving some of the highest dividend payouts among private company owners in the UK. In the previous year, the company set a record by distributing $701 million in dividends. In an official statement, the company expressed its sorrow, stating, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky, who died peacefully after a long illness.” His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
At the time of his passing, Radvinsky was reportedly considering a potential multibillion-dollar sale of the platform, which has become a popular tool for creators to engage directly with their audiences. OnlyFans typically retains a 20% share from subscriptions and content sales. In 2024, the platform boasted over 4.6 million creators and approximately 377 million users, generating $1.4 billion in revenue. Since 2021, Radvinsky is estimated to have received around $1.8 billion in dividends from the business.
