Following Reddy's explosive start, the English batting lineup struggled to maintain a steady run rate, hovering around 2 runs per over. Captain Shubman Gill took the opportunity to tease the English batters, Joe Root and Ollie Pope, reminding them that they were playing a traditional Test match rather than the aggressive 'Bazball' style they had popularized.
