Nitish Kumar Reddy Shines as India Faces England in Third Test

Nitish Kumar Reddy's Impressive Bowling Performance
In the ongoing third Test of the five-match Anderson-Sachin Trophy series at Lord's, Indian pace all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy received high praise from captain Shubman Gill for his remarkable performance. Reddy made a significant impact with the ball, taking two crucial wickets in his very first over, dismissing England's openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley. His unexpected entry into the match caught the English team off guard, marking the beginning of their struggles.

Following Reddy's explosive start, the English batting lineup struggled to maintain a steady run rate, hovering around 2 runs per over. Captain Shubman Gill took the opportunity to tease the English batters, Joe Root and Ollie Pope, reminding them that they were playing a traditional Test match rather than the aggressive 'Bazball' style they had popularized.
England won the toss and opted to bat first, but Reddy's aggressive bowling quickly put them on the back foot, reducing their score to 44 for 2. In his opening over, he claimed the wickets of Zak Crawley (18) and Ben Duckett (23), both caught behind. After these early dismissals, Ollie Pope and Joe Root managed to stabilize the innings, leading England to a score of 83/2 by the time lunch was called. For this Test, India made one change to their lineup, bringing back Jasprit Bumrah in place of Prasidh Krishna, while Arshdeep Singh was also considered for the playing XI.
