Missing Person Case Update

Nancy Guthrie, an 84-year-old woman, was reported missing by her family on February 1, with authorities suspecting she was taken from her home in Catalina Foothills, near Tucson, Arizona, the night before. Recent reports have revealed unsettling new information, including video footage from the evening of her disappearance. According to sources from Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, the last known video of Guthrie, which has been reviewed by investigators but not made public, shows her inside an Uber on the night she vanished. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has scrutinized this footage and interviewed the driver extensively. However, they did not uncover any significant leads. The video reportedly depicted no unusual behavior or comments from Guthrie. “It was just a standard pick-up and drop-off,” the show noted, emphasizing that nothing alarming was observed during the ride.

Focus on Final Hours

Attention has turned back to Guthrie’s last known hours, which she spent at her daughter Annie's home with her son-in-law Tommaso Cioni, located nearby. On the night before her disappearance, Guthrie had dinner with Annie. Following the meal, Cioni arranged the Uber that took her back home, making them among the last individuals to see her. The case has attracted considerable public interest, especially after former journalist Ashleigh Banfield suggested that Cioni might be a suspect. However, law enforcement quickly refuted this notion. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has made it clear that no family members of Guthrie are considered suspects. Nonetheless, curiosity about Annie and Cioni continues. Investigators had previously examined their vehicle, a blue Honda, which has since been returned. Additionally, a person filming near Cioni’s residence reported being asked to vacate the area.
