Master Bhupesh: Pioneering India's Combat Training and Security Preparedness
A Journey from Himachal Pradesh to Global Recognition
Hailing from the serene town of Ani in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, Master Bhupesh has established himself as a leading figure in modern combat training, martial arts, and security preparedness in India. His journey reflects a commitment to discipline, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Today, he plays a crucial role in advanced security training, collaborating with police forces, elite commando units, and central security agencies, while also putting Himachal Pradesh on the global map for sports and entrepreneurship.
Advanced Combat Training for Commandos
Recently, Master Bhupesh led a week-long advanced combat training program at the First Indian Reserve Battalion campus in Bangarh, Una district. This specialized camp was designed for the Quick Reaction Team, where commandos were instructed in Israeli Krav Maga, a highly effective close-combat system.
The training emphasized real-world threat scenarios, counter-assault techniques, hostage-response drills, and rapid neutralization strategies. At the conclusion of the program, Battalion Commandant Dr. Akriti Sharma praised its operational significance and presented Master Bhupesh with a memento, highlighting how such training boosts the confidence, reflexes, and readiness of security personnel.
Revolutionizing Security Training with 'Mission Suraksha 360'
Since 2020, Master Bhupesh has been at the helm of 'Mission Suraksha 360', an initiative aimed at modernizing India's tactical preparedness. This program trains police units, QRT teams, commando formations, and central forces in Israeli close-combat techniques, urban warfare responses, and tactical decision-making.
He believes that the evolving security landscape necessitates a transition from traditional drills to adaptive, intelligence-driven, and rapid-response training. 'Mission Suraksha 360' has become a trusted private-sector framework supporting India's internal security.
Promoting Civilian Safety and National Capacity Building
With over 28 years of martial arts experience, Master Bhupesh has made civilian safety a national priority. More than 50,000 civilians across India have benefited from his self-defense, situational awareness, and crisis-response training.
His approach combines physical combat skills with psychological resilience and decision-making under pressure, a model increasingly embraced by educational institutions, corporations, and community safety initiatives.
Elevating Indian MMA on the Global Stage
In 2017, he founded the Ultimate Fighting League (UFL), an international MMA promotion that organizes high-standard fight events and talent development programs. UFL has quickly gained respect as a global brand, offering Indian fighters exposure to international competition and professional sports environments.
The league has been instrumental in positioning India as a rising contender in the global mixed martial arts arena.
Entrepreneurship with a Social Impact
Beyond his contributions to sports and security, Master Bhupesh is a multifaceted entrepreneur with interests in mining and hospitality. His businesses have created significant job opportunities in Himachal Pradesh, particularly for rural youth, fostering sustainable local economic growth.
His business philosophy merges profitability with community development, viewing entrepreneurship as a catalyst for regional transformation.
Legacy and Recognition
As the founder of Himachal Kung Fu, Master Bhupesh played a key role in formalizing the martial art in the state in 2012. His initiatives have established a structured ecosystem for martial arts training, certification, and competition in Himachal Pradesh.
